Though I didn't think your original logo was bad, I have to say I am loving this most recent version. Very different, grabbed my eye quickly. Nice work for hand drawn and scanned goodness. Something about it...has a unique mark to it. Maybe if it took on attributes of an old school printed letter(s)?
